A Funny Night for Comedy- May 13th

Marga Gomez returns on this special Mothers’ Day edition of A Funny Night for Comedy.

Will I ask her why she couldn’t make it to the last show?

Will we talk about what’s wrong with her leg?

Are those two things related?

Find out on the next show!

Also featuring Edwin Li, Chris Thayer, and, of course, the usual gang!

Don’t delay- you can buy tickets right now!

A Funny Night for Comedy- April 8th

This Easter! We welcome to our stage for the first time Nato Green!

Will I ask him about his show “Iron Comic?”

Will I ask him about his project “Laughter Against the Machine?”

Will I ask him about whatever random thing that occurs to me while watching his set?

There are only a few different ways to find out!
But I’d really prefer it if you did it by coming to the show.

Avoid touching (dirty, dirty) cash, buy tickets in advance!

We also have joining us this week the lovely, funny, and fabulous Dhaya Lakshminarayanan; hilarious up-and-comer Justin Lucas; our usual cast of characters; and more!

(Marga Gomez was, in fact, scheduled to be on this show but we had to change stuff around due to unforeseen circumstances. She will be back soon though!!)

A Funny Night for Comedy- March 11th

In March we will be welcoming Sean Keane to our stage for the first time!

Sean always makes me laugh, and after his set we might talk about why I’m always awkward around him in person.
It’s probably because I’m awkward around everyone who I think is particularly funny when I’m around in person.

But maybe there’s more to the story! Who knows? (besides me?)

Buy your tickets and find out soon!

Plus Kevin Camia, David Studebaker, and the all regular irregularities.

We are back from a month off, refreshed, recharged, and ready to start the year off right (and by ‘right,’ I mean ‘correctly.’ No offense meant to the south paws reading this.)

This month we are joined by A Funny Night for Comedy favorite Will Franken!! I’m very excited to have Will Franken back on the show. He’s one of the few local comedians I knew of and loved before I even started doing comedy, and he’s always an enthralling performer to watch. (I’m not even going to bother telling you he’s funny, because I don’t want to insult your intelligence like that.

We’ll also be joined by the hilarious Stefan Davis and Yayne Abeba, members of the amazing sketch group Femikaze and all the other people and stuff you’ve come to expect, and more!!

Tickets? Yeah, we’ve got those. Don’t scroll all the way up to the top! Just click here. I put the link on this post twice, because I care about you, and don’t want you getting that carpal tunnel thing.

(In case you’re reading this and thinking “I thought Tim Young was supposed to be the headliner,” it’s true, he was. But Tim could not make it, so Mr. Franken graciously agreed to step in at the last minute and help us out. Hopefully we’ll have him on in a future show)

A Funny Night for Comedy- November 13th!

Tickets available here!

Science!

This will be our last show of the year, so we’re going out with a bang!

Our headliner is the funny, thoughtful, and very busy Chris Garcia!
We also have the biting and bitter comedy of Colleen Watson and the prolific and profane Casey Ley!

We have the usual shenanigans by the regulars, don’t you worry your little head about it!

Plus: Guest the hilarious sketch group The Front Row!

A Funny Night for Comedy- October 9th!

Buy tickets ahead of time!!

Those aren't crop circles!!

October’s show is sure to be another fun one! In addition to the usual, we have three comedians who make me laugh off stage as much as they do on-stage:
Headliner Adam McLaughlin, who is always hilarious and also weirdly (pleasantly) charming.
Chris Thayer, who would be my rival if I were a better comedian.
Ben Feldman, who is so funny that I asked him to be in the show even though he kinda makes me nervous.

….
